The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) is a venue for a wide range of performing artists and a cultural center. Artists who have performed at NJPAC include Alicia Keys, Bette Midler, Britney Spears, Bob Dylan, Eddie Vedder, Elvis Costello, Jennifer Hudson, Paul Simon, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Czech Philharmonic, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra and Buena Vista Social Club. Arts education at NJPAC features such programs as the Summer Youth Performance Workshop, The Jeffrey Carollo Scholarship Fund, The Young Artist Institute and in-school residences for dance, theater, music and the literary arts.
The Internation Dance Academy specializes in various dance programs for children and adults. There are programs and classes that cover ballet, hip hop, jazz, tap, tae kwon-do and more. Zumba and cardio kickboxing are also available.
