New Life Assembly of God has undergone some changes since Pastor Dennis Ottalagano arrived from Crest in 2009. The congregation is more engaged and the grounds have been improved. Hayden Williams leads Bible studies on Sunday mornings at 9am before the worship service. Pastor Dennis also leads home Bible studies.
Calvary Chapel is on 14th Street just east of Main Street, an easy-to-find location thanks to the towering sign out front. Pastor Rob Hubbard leads the active congregation that holds Bible study groups throughout the week. Music is a big part of the Sunday services. The church is involved with missions abroad, including the Philippines, Mexico, Thailand and Russia, and locally through financial and volunteer support of Ramona Pregnancy Care Clinic, U-Turn for Christ and Family Discipleship Ministries.
