All the town's financial matters are handled by the finance office, which performs the following functions: preparation of the town budget, sanctioning and auditing the payment of claims from all departments, recording all revenue, investments and expenditures, and handling all aspects of payroll, employee benefits and reimbursements.
The Bedford Recreation & Parks Department maintains area parks and organizes activities for the town's children and senior citizens.

Founded in 2002 by Poughkeepsie natives, Lisa and Mark Schwartz, Rainbeau Ridge is a dairy and produce farm located on Davids Way in Bedford Hills. Open to the public, the farm offers activities, cooking lessons and gardening programs for children and adults. In addition, Rainbeau Ridge sells fine cheeses, produce and more. Bedford Hills Memorial Park is a public space providing the community with recreational opportunities. This park, maintained and operated by the town's parks, trails and open space department, provides a skating rink, playgrounds, courts and fields, swimming pools, shelters, picnic areas and more.
