Parks in Wrentham, Massachusetts

Thirty miles south of Boston and just off Taunton Street, Wrentham State Forest is laced with innumerable hiking and biking trails. This condensed forest, described by the state as "minimally developed," is bordered by Rte. 495 and Madison Street and is open from dawn to dusk. Trails are unmarked and sometimes require some maneuvering. On Saturdays during fall deer-hunting season, the trails are closed. Hunting is forbidden on Sundays.

Bordered by South Street, Common Street and East Street, the Wrentham Town Common is a spot of green in the center of town. It features war monuments, a marker in honor of Hellen Keller and a gazebo, and plays host to concerts and other town events.
