Andrews Park is located north of Grant Ave. in North Redondo Beach. The 1.61-acre park features a picnic shelter, playground and a large field for sports games. It also features restrooms and a drinking fountain.
Alta Vista Park offers a great place to partake in recreational activities. The park is home to three multi-purpose ball fields that are used for a variety of sports including soccer, baseball, T-ball and softball as well as a Little League field and basketball courts. Within the park is a tennis and racquetball facility, two playgrounds and the Alta Vista Community Center, complete with a community room, bathroom, kitchen, storage space and a sheltered picnic area that is available to rent. No dogs or skateboarding allowed.
Anderson Park is a 12.4-acre park that serves the Redondo Beach community. The park is home to the senior center, annex and scouts houses and offers a playground, a jungle gym, and basketball and tennis courts.
Dominguez Park is a 24-acre park composed of picnic areas, play areas, a dog park, a little league field and Heritage Court. Heritage Court is home to the Queen Anne House, Morrell House, rose gardens and courtyards. The Queen Anne House is also home to the City Historical Museum.
Veterans Park offers more than six acres of public space. The park is located next to the Veterans Park Community Center and the Senior Center. Guests can find an open grass areas and a playground.
The Redondo Beach Dog Park is a three-acre, fenced-in dog run where dogs can run and play off their leashes. Separate areas are available for small and large dogs. The park, which is owned and operated by the non-profit organization Friends of Redondo Beach Dog Park, is located at the north end of Dominguez Park.
Seaside Lagoon is a public park that offers something from everyone in the family to enjoy. The highlight is the saltwater lagoon that's staffed with lifeguards and features play equipment for the kids, a large sand area for sunbathing, a volleyball court and snack bar. You can also bring your own food and use the on-site grills and picnic tables. Seaside offers daily and seasonal passes for individuals and families and group rates. Seaside Lagoon is located on the southwest corner of Harbor Drive and Portofino Way.
Aviation Park is a 14-acre recreational facility located at Aviation and Manhattan Beach boulevards with facilities for the entire family to enjoy. It features a 12,000-square-foot gymnasium, which houses gyms, a dance room, locker rooms and restrooms. Available programs include youth and adult sports leagues. There's also a 440-yard outdoor running track, regulation sized football field and field house. The facilities are available for private events and sports activities.
