L&H Industrial was founded and incorporated in 1964 by Leon Wandler, with the goal of becoming the highest-quality repair, rebuilding and specialty manufacturing provider in the Rocky Mountain Region. The business was initially located in a small shop with eight employees. In 1982, L&H Indusrtrial moved to its present 49,000-square-foot facility on eight acres in Gillette, Wy. The company has since added a 30,000-square-foot welding shop, a 5,000-square-foot sandblasting building and is constructing a 15,000-square-foot warehouse. In 2001, L&H Industrial acquired Pro Parts, Inc. in Tucson, Ariz., creating L&H Pro Parts, a world leader in the manufacturing and distribution of parts for mining equipment. Pro Partswas established in 1992 as a supplier of shovel and drill parts to mines in the Southwest United States.
