High Plains Educational Cooperative assists and supports more than 15 school districts in providing education services to students. It has a staff of school psychologists, speech clinicians, early childhood teachers, interrelated teachers, physical education teachers and therapists. The cooperative offers a range of services, such as behavior management, play-based assessments, reading instructions, formative assessments and mentor programs. It also offers a variety of other services that include community-based instructions, counseling and guidance and Web-based individualized education programs. In addition, it has special education support staff that uses various assessment tools and strategies to gather relevant functional and developmental information.
