Commonly referred to as "the church in the tent" because of its tent-like pavilion located off Rodeo Drive, the CrossRoads of Faith United Methodist Church is one of the youngest United Methodist congregations in northern Illinois. The church prides itself on revitalizing the faith of those who may have hit roadblocks in their spiritual journey of life. The church sits on 10 acres of donated land and offers several learning and ministry options including men's and women's Bible studies and youth programs.
The Friendship United Methodist Church is located on East Boughton Road, and as its name may suggest, offers a friendly atmosphere for all church-goers. The church runs a monthly and weekly newsletter to keep its members informed and also offers youth study groups on a weekly basis .
