Sleepy Eye Medical Center is a charitable, nonprofit organization that is owned and operated by the city of Sleepy Eye in Minnesota. It provides a variety of health care services, including inpatient, surgical, home-based referrals, outpatient, diagnostic, nuclear medicine, rehabilitative and special services. The medical center provides a wide variety of surgical procedures, such as general surgeries, endoscopy, and laparoscopic, orthopedic, arthroscopic, urologic, gynecologic and cataract surgeries. Its outpatient services include a full-service medical clinic, clinic visits, surgery, emergency medicine, nutritional counseling, pathology and newborn hearing screening. Additionally, the medical center offers various outreach and human service programs, including meals-on-wheels, prenatal classes, community education, and scholarship and internship programs.
