AMFM Incorporated was founded in 1988 by Robert "Mac" McIntosh and was the first company to manufacture braid bands in North America. Mac developed AMFM after years of experience in the metal hose industry through experience fabricating hose as a distributor and working with a hose manufacturer. In a few short years, the AMFM braid band was rapidly accepted as the standard among hose manufactures in the US and Canada. AMFM Incorporated broadened its abilities beyond braid bands adding wrapped bands and preformed wrapped bands becoming a complete supplier to metal hose fabricators.In 1997 AMFM Incorporated became a family business when Macs son Morgan joined AMFM as Operations Manager. AMFM continued to grow and develop braid bands as well as specialty bands to accommodate a variety of demands within the metal hose industry. AMFM Incorporated has added multiple types of weld fittings to become a complete supplier to metal hose fabricators.Morgan McIntosh now serves as President and CEO following the passing of Mac in October 2002. AMFM celebrates 20 years of business in 2008. AMFM continues to grow and develop their role as a supplier to metal hose fabricators offering complete banding solutions while increasing its offering of weld fittings and other accessories demanded by metal hose fabricators.AMFM Incorporated has been a member in good standing with NAHAD ( National Association for Hose and Accessories Distribution ) and is a member of the listed program, adhering to standards set forth by the NAHAD standards committee.To provide the highest quality service to the metal hose industry by manufacturing and supplying essential products to metal hose fabricators.
