In addition, we have created a culture within our facility that focuses on personalized care, easing fears and explaining every step in the breast imaging process to bring you peace of mind, while also providing compassionate care in a safe, secure atmosphere that caters to the needs of women and their families. When a woman comes to our center with a breast concern, Dr. Mathews reviews the images that are taken, makes recommendation about additional images which are taken immediately and speaks with the patient before she leaves about the results. If a biopsy is recommended, it is scheduled by our patient coordinator, Jean Kloss within a day or two. The biopsy is performed and the patient is scheduled to return the day after the biopsy to receive results.
