Established in 1955, Martinez Lake Resort is a full-service recreational facility offering a list of hospitality and related tourist services for people visiting the Colorado River. Initially started as a fishing camp, the place has expanded into a year-round resort that caters to winter vistors, sightseers, fishermen, rock hounds, boaters, hunters and water skiers. It offers several accommodation options to its guests, such as a recreational vehicle park, a motel on water, motel cabins and nomad trailers. In addition, Martinez Lake Resort provides canoes, kayaks, pontoons and aluminum boats for rent. The resort also houses a restaurant that provides a wide selection of appetizers, burgers, salads and beverages besides hosting small receptions, banquets and meetings for its guests.
