King Luminaire specializes in providing photometric performance together with easy maintenance features. The company manufactures ornamental outdoor light fixtures, poles and other associated products. With its roots in the traditional/historic street lighting market, the company expanded into the more contemporary decorative lighting market. With three locations, including a facility in Jefferson, Ohio, King Luminaire is part of the StressCrete Group of companies. StressCrete was founded as a manufacturer of concrete utility poles in 1953. It gradually moved into other market areas as the group of companies grew. By 1970, StressCrete was capable of manufacturing a 110-inch sports lighting pole, and 10 years later it was involved with decorative and ornamental lighting poles. This led to the acquisition of King Luminaire in 1985.
