The Santee Library is more than a traditional library, it uses technology to the fullest. As one of the San Diego County Branch Libraries, it has access to more than 8.3 million pieces of media.
Noticeable features here include an up-to-date section of new books, a plentiful DVD, audiobook, and CD music library, children and teen reading areas, a dozen-plus free computers for use with a library card number, free Wi-fi without a library card, a clean restroom, two drop boxes outside and one inside and three self-checkout stations.
Like any good library, there are plenty of programs and events for kids, teens and adults.
