The practice of law has changed a great deal in the nearly four decades since Arthur Serota opened his one room office in the Court Square Building in downtown Springfield. Many lawyers attempt to attract business by putting pictures of themselves on the sides of buses and on billboards. Others hire famous actors to do canned commercials touting their supposed talents. We view the practice of law as a dignified and honorable profession. Therefore, you wont find us on the side of a bus, on a billboard or on television. We have chosen to get our message to prospective clients the old fashioned way - by reputation and by word of mouth from satisfied clients. We cut our teeth by representing the downtrodden and by taking on unpopular causes. With that background, we learned what it means to work hard and to have to fight for what is rightfully yours. We have taken that experience and the knowledge gained from it and put it to work in the more traditional areas of practice that we engage in today. We dont make pie-in-the-sky promises to attract and keep our clients. Our lawyers promise the hard work, dedication and personal attention to your case that we have provided to thousands of other satisfied clients for nearly forty years. We are proud of the fact that we have received the highest rating available by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directories, the nations premier rating service for lawyers and law firms. We earned that rating from our peers in the legal community, who know first-hand our tradition of hard work, dedication and integrity. We promise to handle your legal matter, no matter how large or small, with the same level of skill and dedication that has made us a leader in the Western Massachusetts legal community. In July 2009, the firm relocated to our current beautiful new office at 100 Main Street, Third Floor, Northampton, MA. We also have a satellite office at 1145 Main Street, Suite 508, Springfield, MA.
