Lifelong Grosse Ile resident Ralph Gronda opened his lawn equipment business in 2003 after working for the local hardware store for many years. The tiny but attractive building is packed with lawnmowers, leafblowers, pruners, trimmers and other hand and power tools as well as related parts necessary to care for homes and landscapes. Gronda is always happy to order anything that he doesn't have in stock and to offer advice to clueless customers, such as "always remove the spark plug before working on your lawnmower."
Owner Greg Warren has been caring for customers' lawns and landscapes since 1991. His services include mowing lawns, plowing snow, performing spring and fall cleanups and maintaining sprinkler systems. This 29-year resident of Grosse Ile has one tip for his clients: water frequently throughout October, to help your landscape make it through the winter.
