Stewardson-Strasburg Grade School provides education to more than 270 students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. The school s curriculum includes math, science, social studies, language arts, music and physical education. In addition, it administers the Title I program. Stewardson-Strasburg Grade School maintains a library that houses a range of books and study materials. The school operates a band and parent-teacher-student association. It offers a variety of sports activities, such as basketball, softball, volleyball, cheerleading, baseball, and track and field for boys and girls. Stewardson-Strasburg Grade School offers special education classes for gifted and talented students. It is a part of Stewardson-Strasburg Community Unit District 5A.
