Healdsburg Elementary School-HES Campus serves approximately 380 students in kindergarten through second grade. Principal Stephanie Feith oversees a staff of 19 teachers and six administrative and support officials. As part of the Healdsburg Unified School District, students continue on to Healdsburg Elementary School-Fitch Mountain Campus for third to fifth grade.
Alexander Valley School, also the Alexander Valley Union School District, is a "district of choice" public school district for children in grades kindergarten through sixth grade. "District of choice" means that children who don't live in the Alexander Valley may choose to attend there if space is available. Children who live in Alexander Valley are automatically granted spaces. After sixth grade, students from other areas return to their home school districts for junior high and high school, while those in Alexander Valley attend Healdsburg Unified School District's junior high and high school.

St. John's Catholic School strives to offer the highest in academics, community involvement and spiritual development. The mission statement says it is "dedicated to the work of Christ while providing each individual with the opportunity to achieve academic excellence and make a positive contribution in the world." Located in the heart of Healdsburg and just a block from the Plaza, St. John's has been a part of the community for more than 52 years. Although it is rooted in traditional values, St. John's newly renovated library and top-notch computer lab make it well-suited to foster academic excellence in the years to come.
