Bruceton School is a public school in Bruceton Mills, W.Va., serving kindergarten through eighth grade. The school uses a literature-based reading program that stresses on the skills of reading, writing, speaking, listening and spelling. The kindergarten through fifth grades uses a developmentally appropriate program that includes elements of inclusion, looping and child-centered instruction. Its after school programs include math tutoring, language arts tutoring, study buddies, African drum and dance program and art special topic courses. Bruceton School has a partnership with Bruceton Bank that supports school programs of public relations, curriculum support, life skills, technology and extra curricular programs such as basketball, football and band. It has collaboration with the West Virginia University.
