Located in Rensselaer, N.Y., Rensselaer Middle School has an annual enrollment of more than 250 students in grades six through eight. It is a part of the Rensselaer City School District, which serves over 1,000 students. Rensselaer Middle School provides coaching and training in a variety of athletic activities, including football, wrestling, basketball, golf, baseball, volleyball, gymnastics, softball, bowling, cheerleading, and track and field. The school supports the National Junior Honor Society, band, chorus, and builders, home and careers, drama and LEGO Robotics clubs. Rensselaer Middle School has a team of guidance counselors that works with the faculty, students and parents to facilitate academic success and personal development of the students.
