Located in Immokalee, Fla., Immokalee Middle School is affiliated with District School Board of Collier County. The school has a student population of more than 1,000 students in grades six through eight. Its facility includes a playground, library media center, computer lab, amphitheater, and art and music rooms. The school teaches a variety of subjects, such as math, science, language arts, social studies, intensive reading and physical education. In addition, it offers courses in Spanish, band, chorus, cooking, business and art. The school s staff includes language arts and reading coaches, staff developers, media specialists, and gifted and talented education teachers.
