Everglades City School provides educational, athletic and recreational programs to more than 100 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The school operates math, agriscience, language arts, science, English, social studies and Spanish departments. It also offers classes in art, physical education and music. Everglades City School s media center houses a variety of reference books, magazines, encyclopedias, dictionaries, newspapers, and fiction and nonfiction books. The school s W.E.T. (Wetland and Esturaries Together) program allows students to encounter ideas, events and materials in the real-world context. It is located in Everglades City, Fla., and is a part of the District School Board of Collier County.
