Cottondale High School provides a range of educational and extracurricular programs for students in grades 6 through 12. Its curriculum features classes in various subjects, such as geography, math, biology, business education, history, language arts and social studies, as well as Spanish. Cottondale High School administers music, band and physical education programs. It offers food services for students. The school operates a library that houses a collection of books and reference materials. It also provides opportunities for students to participate in several sports activities, such as football, volleyball, cheerleading, basketball, baseball, softball, and track and field. In addition, Cottondale High School conducts science trips and adventure camps.
