Led by Senior Pastor Bill Bryson, the Lighthouse Baptist Church offers two Sunday worship services, one in the morning and the other in the evening. With the intention of supporting families and individuals of all ages, the church provides a number of services and ministries, including child care for infants and toddlers, children's Sunday school classes, youth groups for teens, several adult small groups and Bible study courses, counseling and support services, and one-on-one discipleship. Pleasanton Middle School was built in 1990 and is a California Distinguished School. It has about 1,100 students each year and has a wide variety of academic programs, extra-curricular activities and support services for it's students.

Among it's programs are Math Skills, Academic Assistance and Reading Improvement classes for students who need extra help. 

Pleasanton Middle School is located in central Pleasanton, close to downtown and the city's historical areas. The principal is John Whitney and the school's mascot is the Panther.

Thomas S. Hart Middle School opened in 2000 and has a state-of-the-art facility complete with a science building, library and sports facilities. In 2007, four new classrooms were added to the campus.

The principal is Steve Maher, and the school mascot is the Huskies. 

The school is located in the Hacienda Business Park and enrolls about 1200 students. Since it was established, the school has been recognized as a California Distinguished School. It's curriculum includes health, history, language arts, mathematics, performing arts, physical education, science and world language.

The school has a Parent Faculty Association, which promotes volunteerism among it's members. The group also helps plan and host school events and fundraise for school-specific needs.

The Hacienda School in Pleasanton is a private, non-sectarian institution which serves children ages 6 to 14 in year-round, full-day instruction. It's located on Stoneridge Drive, a few minutes east of Santa Rita Road.

The school is part of the Palo Alto-based Early Learning Institute, which also operates child development centers for children in pre-school through kindergarten. Based on the Montessori approach, the curriculum incorporates activities that promote development and includes language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, foreign languages, physical education, art, technology, critical thinking and practical life skills classes. Its defining philosophy is to help students direct and manage their own learning through individualized experiences. The campus can accommodate 96 students, with 24 students per classroom and one teacher for every 12 students.

A Chinese language and cultural immersion program, the Two Worlds Approach, is provided during after-school hours. This program is also available to outside students not enrolled at the school.

Discounted tuition is available for families with multiple children enrolled.
