Established in 1956, Peary Middle School serves more than 2,500 students in grades five through eight. The school s curriculum includes math, science, music, social studies and physical education. Its library media center maintains a selection of books and reference materials. Peary Middle School s special education department offers a variety of programs for students with developmental disabilities. In addition, the school provides supplemental education and after-school programs. It also hosts sessions in art and computer studies and offers the English as a Second Language program. Peary Middle School operates a parent center that provides academic support services for students.
