Ganado Middle School provides a learning environment for students in grades seven and eight. It is located in Ganado, Ariz., and operates through various departments, such as education and community services, business and finance, federal projects, human resources, education technology, student services, campus security and transportation. Its core curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, English, social studies, science, physical education, computer application, technology, music and fine arts. The school provides various extracurricular activities to develop interpersonal growth and interactive skills of students, such as club activities, field trips, concerts, book fairs, picnics and sports tournaments. It invites businesses to be partners in the education of young people and to provide the students with specialized professional education as they graduate from elementary school to high school. It involves parents in the educational development activities of students and in crisis management programs. Ganado Middle School is approved through the Navajo Nation Office of the North Central Accreditation Association.
