This cozy, friendly spot serves up very satisfying Sushi along with noodles, soups, teriyaki, tempura and other Japanese dishes. The welcoming owner works alongside his young staff and is clearly proud of his creations. The spot serves up almost 100 kinds of maki with some inventive twists, like the Red Sox maki (spicy BBQ eel, tobiko wrap and tuna) and Celtics maki (shrimp tempura, unagi, cream cheese and apple). This is an unintimidating spot to eat solo; bring a book, or simply watch the Sushi chefs at work.
