I work in insurance because I want to make a difference in the community. I can help people protect what matters most - from cars and condos to life insurance and saving for college or retirement. Im fighting homelessness as a member of the San Jose Obrero Mission board of directors, and I am part of Allstates team to help end domestic violence. My agency supports a new charitable effort every 90 days that customers help select. We participate in annual coat drives for local school children and celebrate Dia de los Muertos each year by running the Carrera de Los Muertos 5K race.

Prior to opening my agency, I was one of the youngest Field Sales Leaders in the country for Allstate. With the success I was seeing, I figured I should move back home and open my own agency. Today, were a top-performing agency that grows year after year, employing more than 10 people in the community.
Outside of work, Im a chapter advisor for the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity at Northern Illinois University – the chapter I belonged to as an undergraduate. I love mentoring and guiding the brothers as they transition from college to the real world. In my spare time, youll find me playing video games, exercising, rooting for the Chicago Cubs and Bears and spending time with family.
My wife, Lola, and I have two cats, Durden and Achilles, and two dogs, Marla and Basher. Fun fact: We name all our pets after movies involving a famous actor. My dad did the same thing with our pets and we wanted to carry on the tradition.
