About Syed Quadri & Theo Pappas Syed Quadri Before joining American Income Life Insurance Company (AIL) in 2009, Syed Quadri was a student majoring in education and the theater arts and worked fulltime as a personal banker for JP Morgan Chase. But once he realized what he could potentially accomplish with AIL, the move to American Income Life was a natural progression. Syed has no doubt he made the right choice. “Easy access to leads and potential income enticed me to Join the Company,” he says, “but helping others attain financial levels they never thought possible has been the most rewarding.” Syed is tremendously proud of his accomplishments with American Income Life. “I am one of the youngest State General Agents,” he says, “was the number 7 Master General Agent for multiple years, facilitated 10 MGA promotions in 10 years, and helped build our presence in New York to where it is today.” “AIL products help people by educating them and showing them what they need if tragedy or illness strikes,” emphasizes Syed, “and we are adding several positions in the coming months in the city of Philadelphia. These jobs can offer you an exciting future and advancement. Individuals can quickly move up the career ladder and potentially change their financial lives.” What advice does Syed have for someone considering a career move to American Income Life? “The key to success in this business is to never quit. If times get tough, you get tougher. If I could start over with American Income Life, ‘don’t quit’ would be my philosophy.” In his free time, Syed still enjoys theater arts. “I’m a big movie buff. I use to act when I was in college, and I also write poetry. I’m really just a family man, spending time with my wife and new baby.” Syed is a kidney donor and is active with the National Kidney Foundation. “Taking care of the elderly is also important to me,” he emphasizes. “We are big on food drives too. We donate food to local shelters during Thanksgiving and hold a ‘Toys for Tots’ drive for the holidays. We also will work with ‘Habitat for Humanity’ to help build homes for the poor.” Theo Pappas Theodore Pappas has achieved some impressive milestones during his time with American Income Life (AIL) and National Income Life Insurance Company (NILICO). In 2001 he was one of NILICO’s top 20 personal producers. From 2002-2005 he was a top Master General Agent. And this was only during his first five years with the Company! Before joining AIL/NILICO, Theodore was a sales manager for a commercial printing company. When the printing company was sold in 2000, he began looking elsewhere for a new career. He became interested in AIL/NILICO because of the opportunity for growth both as a producer and as a Manager. Theodore knew the Company was right for him because of the many opportunities it offers its Representatives. But the opportunity that interested him most in AIL/NILICO was the ability to move up in the Company. Originally, the most rewarding aspect of his career at AIL/NILICO was the income. But as he continued working with the Company, that changed. He focused on his ability to advance his career as a Manager, which led him to his current position. Now Theodore helps other Representatives accomplish the same level of success he’s achieved. One of the most rewarding aspects of his job is sharing this opportunity with others, and seeing them flourish in his offices as they make a better life for themselves and their families. A family man himself, Theodore thinks about families when approaching his sales. When asked about AIL/NILICO products, Theodore said, “I believe our products are beneficial because they help fill in the gaps for working families. Our concern is getting the right products in place for each individual family.” In addition to devotion to his own family, Theodore regularly donates time and effort to several organizations such as the Special Olympics, American Cancer Society, Leukemia Foundation, and clothing drives. Theodore offers advice to anyone who plans to join the AIL/NILICO family: “Go for it and hold on for the ride. Nothing worthwhile in life is easy, but a career with AIL/NILICO is not only financially rewarding but personally rewarding as well.”
