Bill Harper began doing business as Harper Diesel in 1975 as a machine and engine rebuilding shop. Harper Diesel became Harper Diesel & Machine Service, Inc in 1981 and began primarily rebuilding, repairing and selling heavy equipment. In 2003, Bills son, Ben, joined the company.
