Founded in 1962, Kandi Works DAC is a nonprofit organization that provides day training and habilitation services for adults with developmental disabilities. The organization offers a variety of supported employment and sensory integration programs. It maintains more than two locations in Minnesota. Kandi Works DAC conducts arts and crafts, music, bowling, gardening and cooking activities, as well as provides spa treatment services for senior citizens. The organization operates Kandiyohi Candle Company, which is a small, nonprofit business that provides hand-poured soybean wax candles and lotions produced by developmentally disabled adults. In addition, it offers in-center work opportunities and operates a gift shop. Kandi Works DAC is licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
