The Housing Authority of Grant County has been providing affordable housing to the residents of Grant County, Wash., for more than 60 years. It serves the areas of Ephrata, Grand Coulee, Mattawa, Moses Lake, Quincy, Royal City, Soap Lake and Warden in Washington. The authority offers housing development and construction and property management services, as well as assists first-time homebuyers. It owns more than 720 apartments and single-family dwellings. The Housing Authority of Grant County administers low-rent public housing and housing choice voucher rental assistance programs. Its Family Self-Sufficiency program encourages communities to develop local strategies for helping families obtain employment that will lead to economic independence and self-sufficiency.
