about Our History: Paul and Carolyn Hebert founded the Housing For All Corporation in 1988 to better aid their fellow Cape Codders who had nowhere to sleep on cold winter nights but the streets of Hyannis. "How can we enjoy our cozy bed while someone is huddled in a doorway?" asked Carolyn. While working full time as a chef to support his wife and three daughters, Paul, with Carolyns help, envisioned and manifested the NOAH Shelter, the Miracle Kitchen, Gleaners Second Harvest and the Day Star Place. These wondrous deeds caught the attention of Alice ONeill, who implored Paul to do more good works, and generously offered her resources to bolster the efforts. The Heberts took the next step in faith and opened CHAMP House in 1991, which was to be home to those who had come to be without. Our Present: Over the years, CHAMP House has evolved to become CHAMP Homes and provides affordable, supportive family-style living to a co-ed inter-generational fifty member family at our School Street Campus. The Bayside Cottage is home to the "Bridge to Hope" program, offering mentoring to women in Barnstable Correctional facilities and four beds are available on Campus for those reintegrating back into the community. The Jamie Ready CHAMP House is home to individuals who have suffered from head injuries and additional support is provided through a partnership with Community Support Associates.
