Beech Hill Farm provides boarding services for privately-owned horses, as well as horses available for share boarding and part-, half- and full-time leasing. Horseback riding lessons also are offered for riders of all experience and skill levels. Disciplines include Western, hunt seat, trail riding and dressage. Summer camps and competition events also are available. Beech Hill's property is adjacent to the Rockefeller State Preserve, which provides students and horse owners with more than 150 miles of trails suitable for riding and carriages.
Rita's Stable has been in business since 1976 and it is obvious all the animals here are loved and well cared for. Rita offers trail rides at lengths of 30, 60 or 90 minutes and lessons in the summer for ages 5 and up, as well as pony camp for ages 4-7 and 8-12. Pony parties are also available.
