Coston The Coston family has been in the construction business in the Birmingham, Alabama area since 1956, when E.C. Coston Company was formed. Today, Kenneth C. Coston, Jr., as the fourth generation of the COSTON family, is President and Chief Executive Officer of Coston General Contractors, Inc Through the years the COSTON family name has always stood for quality construction at a fair price. While Coston General Contractors specializes in commercial and light industrial construction projects, we strive to achieve diversity in the types of work we contract. our list of recent construction projects includes office and retail construction, ecclesiastical buildings, medical buildings, educational buildings, and athletic/sports complexes. We are a member of the Associated General Contractors and have implemented an AGC-approved drug and alcohol program to include random drug testing. We are licensed in the states of Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee. Coston General Contractors employs a relatively small office staff consisting of highly qualified personnel in order to maintain a low overhead. Our top management are the people who do the work. Each COSTON project is visited regularly by an officer of the company and Kenneth C. Coston, Jr. and Stewart Robinson are personally involved with every project.
