The Family Life Center is a nonprofit, community organization that offers mental health and substance abuse services to the residents of Cherokee County in Kansas. The center provides adult case management, housing assistance, psychosocial treatment, social and rehabilitative services. Its vocational programs offer employment opportunities to individuals with impairments and disabilities. The Family Life Center also provides Head Start consultation services. It offers home-based family and parent-child interactive therapies. The center additionally provides after-school, summer and research-based treatment programs. The Family Life Center s Psychosocial Treatment Program focuses on the improvement of social and problem-solving skills of juvenile offenders between the ages of 10 and 17.
