The Admitting and Patient Access department of Sound Shore Medical Center of Westchester is located just off the lobby area of the main building. The department deals with admitting patients to the hospital for treatment. Registrars interview patients to obtain personal and insurance information, and establish medical and billing records. Admitting and Patient Access is the first stop for most new patients to Sound Shore Medical Center.
