Zion’s Hill United Methodist Church offers worship services every Sunday morning at 10am. Scripture lessons, an inspirational message from the pastor, congregational singing, and prayer all play vital roles in each service, where members of the congregation are encouraged to share their joys and concerns with the Zion’s Hill community.  Music Director Susan Isherwood adds musical elements such as choir to the proceedings, and Holy Communion is offered the first Sunday of every month.

Child care is provided for infants and toddlers, while school-aged children (kindergarten – eighth grade) attend the first part of service and spend the latter part of this time in Sunday School, in the adjoining Christian Education Building. Basing their lessons on the Cook Ministries curriculum, Zion’s Hill Sunday School teachers use activities, discussion, and games to help children learn how to apply the Bible to their everyday experiences.

Zion’s Hill takes an active part in the community, and often works with UMCOR, the United Methodist Committee on Relief, to find charities and outreach programs. Zion’s Hill has participated in Habitat for Humanity, the Appalachian Service Project, and various soup kitchens and gift-giving programs across the country.

If you have questions about the church or their worship services, you can contact Pastor Steve Goldstein at 203-762-9890.
