Honored by the magazine in 2007, Crescent Ridge Dairy Bar sells premium ice cream in a country setting complete with grazing cows and picnic tables. In business for nearly 50 years, the ice cream shop offers generous portions of 27 different flavors of ice cream as well as five frozen yogurt, three sugar-free and two sherbet flavors.
Owner Charlie Seitzman offers his deli customers homemade food. He cooks his own corned beef, roast beef and all-natural turkey and makes his own cole slaw and macaroni salad, tuna salad and egg salad. He makes his turkey salad from the fresh roasted all-natural turkey. Customers to this deli will also find homemade chicken soup as well a traditional sweet and sour cabbage soup. You'll also find chopped liver, knishes, kishkes, kreplach, kasha and noodle kugel.

Ward's Berry Farm is not only the local spot for produce, but also for picking berries and pumpkins, hayrides, made-from-scratch bakery items, a cheese shop, a small restaurant, greenhouse plants and farm animals. In business for more than 25 years, the owners cultivate 200 acres of land. In season, customers can buy freshly grown herbs, vegetables and fruit. Berry picking includes raspberries, strawberries and blueberries. The greenhouse grows annuals, perennials, hardy mums, bedding plants and tomatoes.
