Situated in a narrow red building across the street from The Homeport Restaurant, Menemsha Market serves the summertime crowd for all their convenience items and souvenir needs. There is limited parking located directly in front of the building, the front porch of which offers for the travel-weary. Menemsha Market is one of the few places on the island that sells Chilmark Spring Water, and you can also stop by for ice, lottery, magazines, newspapers, film and some groceries that you might need in the beautiful, but slightly isolated village of Menemsha.

The Chilmark Store is the main attraction of Beetlebung Corner and is usually packed with people during the midday hours, all summer long. Whether they're drawn in by the convenience and grocery items, or they want a slice of that famous Chilmark Store pizza, people from all walks of life frequent this store while it's open for the season. Beyond offering hot pizza and a wide variety of sodas and coffees, the Chilmark Store serves sandwiches, salads and appetizers; there's also a small produce section; tobacco-related items; periodicals and local newspapers. There are rocking chairs on the front veranda where you can sit and enjoy your pizza, or peruse the large corkboard that is usually filled with business cards, want ads and invitations to local events.
