Alice Acres is not just a produce stand.
This local farm owned by Peter Bargmann, affectionately known as Farmer Pete, is a day-trip destination offering plants, flowers, produce, ice cream and petting zoo. Located a half mile from Gales Ferry center, visitors can shop for a variety of fresh seasonal produce and check out the greenhouse for a great selection of plants and flowers. Cows and Cones homemade ice cream also located on-site.
Hourly rental of the Bud Crandall Pavilion is available and comes complete with grills.
