The Minnesota Environmental Partnership is a coalition of more than 80 Minnesota environmental and conservation organizations working together to protect and preserve Minnesotas precious natural environment. Together, the Partnerships member organizations are supported by more than 450, 000 Minnesotans. The Partnership provides a way for environmental organizations to collaborate in their efforts to make sure that Minnesotas natural resources are well cared for. Incorporated in 1998 as a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt organization, The Partnerships mission is to strengthen the effectiveness of the Minnesota environmental community in protecting and enhancing the states natural resources. It counts among its members the states leading environmental and conservation organizations whose leaders understand the power and productivity that comes from joining forces and working together toward a common vision. CRWP was founded in 1990 through the hard work of concerned citizens and through support of the Nature Conservancy, Minnesota Board of Soil and Water Resources, and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. CRWP is a 501 ( C ) ( 3 ) non-profit organization ( view CRWPs IRS non-profit confirmation letter, click here ). Programs are focused on conservation, water quality monitoring, and educational opportunities. Throughout the watershed, these programs are carried out with the cooperation of volunteers, farmers, local businesses and industry, schools and colleges, and with the assistance of some 400 CRWP members.CRWPs strategic plan explains more about our organization ; our values, vision and mission ; and our program focus.
