Literary Arts Program, offered by the Utah Arts Council, is a literature program that helps and encourages writers, and assists literary organizations to identify new audiences for literature. The council, based in Salt Lake City, is an agency that combines state and national funds for promoting arts throughout the state. The organization also has partnership with libraries, publishers, schools, colleges, universities, booksellers, public radio and other media, and literature presenters. The Utah Arts Council conducts programs that provide more than 500 outreach services to schools, local arts councils and organizations, community centers, performing groups, and individual artists. The council serves for arts programming, and assists arts organizations, groups and individuals.
