Grosse Ile Township is a Wayne County municipality of over 10,000 residents. The township includes 12 islands in the Detroit River, the largest of which is also called Grosse Ile. The bulk of the town government municipal offices are located at 9601 Groh Road. This includes the Town Clerk, Town Supervisor, Treasurer, Township Manager, Communications Department and other offices. This location is also a meeting point for various town committees and organizations.
