Town of Cave Creek is located in northern Maricopa County, Ariz., and is bound by Phoenix to the west and south, and Carefree and Scottsdale, Ariz., to the east and southeast. The town covers and area of more than 30-square-miles. Town of Cave Creek is governed by a town council, and has various departments, such as town manager s office, administration, building safety, engineering, elections, municipal court, planning department, town marshal and human resources. The town is named after Cave Creek, the stream that originates in the town hills located in its northeast and flows southwesterly for more than 25-miles.
