Bed Bath and Beyond carries a range of medium- and high-end domestic merchandise, including items for the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and dining room. This Bed Bath and Beyond is located in the Cobb Place Shopping Center, off of Barret Parkway. The store offers a wedding registry and gift cards.
The word unique woefully understates this venue for hand-painted art, furniture and home decor. The Painted Butterfly is located in a house that pre-dates the Civil War, situated right in the middle of Kennesaw's historic district. Oversized, repurposed art spills out onto the parking lot, adding a burst of color where Main and Summers Streets intersect. Artist Holly Jones re-crafts and recycles previously loved dressers and chairs, barbecue grills, window shutters, floor boards and even discarded tool sheds. Her canvas art is both fun and inspirational with a full-on use of attention-grabbing hues. There's a Children's Room and a Christmas Room filled to the ceiling with themed woodwork, tree-trimming favorites and inspirational whimsy.
Everything to do with Japanese anime is available in this store. It's Hello Kitty, goodbye reality, as you browse through some amazing anime items. Some pretty detailed small figurines start the tour, but you quickly realize there are backpacks, lunch boxes, full clothing outfits, stuffed animals, purses and, of course, the Super Mario soft characters.
This Cracker Barrel is at exit 271 on Interstate 75. Since 1969, Cracker Barrel has been feeding hungry travelers and people who live just down the street alike. This is plain old good country cooking. When you are finished, you can either shop for some interesting curios or just sit and rock on the porch.
