Fastenal is a national/international company with approximately 2,300 branches. The West Hartford branch services a set area, providing fasteners (screws, nails, etc.) as well as safety equipment, tools and gardening supplies. The majority of Fastenal's customers are construction, manufacturing and auto repair companies, but the store is open to the public. Products not kept in stock are shipped from a hub location.
This shop, located in a beautiful and spacious nursery, has a complete garden center and offers florist services. There are more than 2,000 plants to choose from, with an extensive selection of tropical plants and houseplants. Check out the koi pond in one of the greenhouses. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and if asked, happily gives customers a tour of the picturesque grounds. Moscarillo's is also home to a seasonal farmstand which sells local produce and products from May to October
In addition to selling annuals and perennials, Petrissi Nursery also offers shrubs, trees, fertilizer, chemicals, mulch, soil, and landscaping services.
