For more than 40 years, Sherman Library & Gardens has provided Corona del Mar and neighboring communities with a horticultural retreat and learning environment.
The gardens boast a botanical collection of more than 1,500 plants, including a cactus and succulent area, large flower beds with seasonal flowers, an outdoor tea garden, a rose garden, serene fountains and walkways, a discovery garden specially designed for the visually impaired, a tropical conservatory and an herb garden.
The research library's collection of materials specialize in the history of the Pacific Southwest and is devoted to providing information about how the region transformed over the past 150 years into a key part of the world.
