Established in 1946, South Dakota State University Foundation is an educational university support organization dedicated to the advancement of South Dakota State University. Based in Brookings, S.D., the foundation is responsible for raising the funds necessary to administer South Dakota State Universitys scholarship programs, community programs and new building/renovation projects. It operates colleges offering specialization in subjects, such as agriculture and biological sciences; arts and sciences; education and human sciences; engineering, general studies, nursing, pharmacy and athletics.
