The Piqua Fire Department responds to calls for several types of fire protection services to the citizens of Piqua, Ohio. It provides various fire prevention, inspection and safety education services. The fire department also offers paramedic, ambulance and rescue services. The Piqua Fire Department has mutual aid agreements with several fire departments in Miami County, Ohio, and is member of the Greater Dayton Area mutual aid agreement. Its members are trained in firefighting and emergency medical techniques. The fire department s members are also trained in rescue diving, hazardous material handling and fire safety inspections. The Piqua Fire Department maintains a fleet of engines, as well as an aerial platform.
